Sexual harassment is defined as any unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, sexual or non-sexual orientated verbal or physical acts when:
- Submission to such conduct is made either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of an individual’s employment,
- Submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for employment decisions and/or retaliation; or
- Such conduct has the purpose or effect of interfering with an individual’s work performance or creating an intimidating, hostile or offensive work environment.
All complaints of sexual harassment will be taken seriously and treated with respect and in confidence. Anyone who believes that he or she is a victim of sexual harassment should immediately report any incident to Human Resources or to his or her Supervision. Your complaint will be promptly and thoroughly investigated. The company will not tolerate retaliation against any employee who complains of sexual harassment or provides information in connection with any such complaint. Any person found to have retaliated against another individual for reporting sexual harassment will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
